Some websites and videos to help you get started
This is a list of a few websites and videos that I reccomend for starting to learn all the way up to advanced cources and some things in-between, some websites will be free and some websites may offer paid courses (might update in the future if I find more good websites)
- w3schools - great for absolute beginners
- Stackoverflow - great for questions and answers
- Blackbirdcode - good for younger kids starting
- Codecademy - great for everything from beginners to careers
- Udemy (paid) - a lot of courses for becoming more advanced
- Hackerrank - good for more advanced coders to practice and hone skills
- Developermozilla - great for generally everybody
- Javascript.info (mainly javascript) - great for generally everyone
- Skillshare (paid subscription) - classes from professionals or even some companies
- Harvard - if you have enough commitment harvard has some coding clases online keep in mind they are long
- Sololearn - very popular website for beginners who want to learn and has a great c++ course
- MIT OpenCourseWare - has many articals for assisting learning or advancing in coding
- Google - your best friend if you are a coder whether beginner or senior programmer

• Channels and videos
- Academind has many different tutorial videos which last anywhere from 1-4 hours and include crash courses for beginners, along with more advanced topics. also chat about trending topics, tools, and skills in the coding industry. Learners can visit the Academind website, which offers premium online courses and links to the Academind community on Discord — a good way for aspiring developers to connect with others in the same boat.
- freeCodeCamp offers several comprehensive, self-paced courses on coding. Many of these courses incorporate YouTube videos with instructors who walk viewers through different modules. Unlike some other channels featured on this list, freeCodeCamp uploads videos that learners follow in a specific order to build upon their previous lessons. However, the channel also uploads standalone courses that typically last several hours
- LevelUpTuts began in 2013 as a free educational resource for people learning web development. publishing accessible and user-friendly tutorials with high production value. LevelUpTuts offers over 1,000 free videos on various (and sometimes ultra-specific) topics. And the channel includes several series; most videos don't run over 10 minutes.
- Traversy Media is the YouTube channel of Brad Traversy, a former freelance programmer who now creates tutorials for people learning to code. Viewers can learn about foundational coding skills and languages like HTML, CSS, Python, and JavaScript, as well as front-end frameworks like React. Traversy also invites guest creators who help teach other specialized skills. Also Traversy occasionally uploads stories that may appeal to those just beginning a career in programming.
- CS Dojo is a channel that shares their experience and knowledge with their audiences. Currently, CS Dojo has a total of 9 playlists on his YouTube channel. Through these videos, he covers several topics like how to learn coding, dynamic programming tutorials, and many other technical issues. most of their videos are catered towards begining and intermediate programmers.
There are also many other chanels and videos out there besides the ones I have recomended. Allways feel free to do your own reaserach if you think this videos might not be for you. There will always be other options you just need to start somewhere.
